March 30, 1929 ‘ April 20, 2008. Virginia Blackwell Thompson passed away peacefully Sunday morning, April 20, 2008 at her home in College Station, TX. She was born March 30, 1923 to Lilly and Charles Blackwell in Quitman, TX. Virginia loved her family, beautiful flowers, and going to church. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. Virginia is preceded in death by her beloved son, Mark, and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Arthur D. Thompson; children, Laura Reeves, Amie Brauer and their husbands; grandchildren Tiffany Morgan, Zachary Reeves, Kaley and Ryan Brauer; her brothers William Blackwell , Charles Blackwell, their wives, sister Charlie Bullington and her husband, and her nieces and nephews.
