As an active teenager in the 50's, I remember Mr. Willis as the Business Administrator and the one who read the names of those who joined the church. On my wedding day I had a terrible scare when Titche's called to say they couldn't deliver my dress since the church was locked. My dad, deacon Reuben Schmitt, called Dean! Thankfully, he solved the problem! I'll be forever grateful. Such good memories of a dedicated life in so many areas. My sympathies to the families involved. Marjorie Kindiger in Chattanooga, TN

Love people and trust God. These four simple words describe the Dean Willis I had the privilege to know, if only for a short time. The joy and peace I witnessed in his heart as well as the laughter and kindness he exuded each and every time I was in his presence will forever remain in my heart. Dean, I was blessed to have known you while on this earth and I humbly thank God for sharing you with me. And, "yes" I will help watch over Martha and assist her whenever she needs me. ?? Dean is Home in Heaven. I shall miss him. Jeannine Tippins
