Wanda Joyce Darden's Obituary
Wanda McClure Darden was born in Dallas, Texas on September 4, 1953 to parentage of Curtis McClure and Trudie Sylmonds (deceased). She graduated from Wilmer Hutchins High School in 1972 and did some college at El Centro. She formerly worked at TI (Texas Instrument), Eastman Kodak Company over 15 years and Minyards grocery retired working do to Medical issues. She was united in matrimony to Michael Darden I (deceased). She was member of Metropolitan Baptist Church of Desoto but visited IBC (Inspiring Body of Christ Church) and many others. Those left to cherish her memories; father, Curtis McClure ( Mac ); daughter, Marnqui Darden ( Dee ), Shavodka Darden (Vodka – deceased) and Grushana Darden ( Gru ); son, Michael Darden II; mother-in-law, Barbara Jean Darden; sisters, Sharon McClure-Thomas, Beverly Ruffin ( Cookie) , Jackie , Barbara; brothers, Curtis and Deborah McClure ( Butch ) , Oliver McClure; brother-in-law, Richard and Alice Darden; sister-in- law, Sherily Darden; grandchildren, Antwanique Conner, Zerrion Darden-Walker, Zamoria Session, Ja’vion West, Michael Darden III, Cornelous Darden and Jeremey Darden. She is taking a Long Nap and sooner or later I will be right there with you. The visitation for Wanda Darden will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 13, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Wanda will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 2:30 PM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
