William Janks II C.P.A Born September 11, 1929 in Benton, Illinois to William and Vada Janks, who preceded him in death. Also preceded in death by his first wife, Marlene Joyce Janks, his daughter Cynthia Ann Godfrey, and grandson Jason Godfrey. He is survived by his wife Mary T. Janks and step son Moe Haddad.William graduated from Nacodoches High School. Attended Stephen F. Austin State University, University of Texas of Austin, and Southern Methodist University. He was a self employed C.P.A. President of Janks Investments, President of Southwest Capital Resources. President of Majan Broadcasting Co. President of Gazelle Co, President of Auto-Life manufacturing co. President of Snappy Printing Co. President of Sherman TV magazine. He worked as Assistant Controller for Taylor Publishing co. Assistant Controller of Lee Optical Co. Controller for Texas Gypsum Co of Irving. Vice President for Justin McCarty Manufacturing Co. Division Controller for Banaza International Co. Assistant Controller for Jake Hamon Oil co. Accountant for American Liberty Oil co. and Auditor for Hasken & Sells C.P.A’s, Industrial Engineer for Security Engineering, and Design Engineer for Chance Vaught Aircraft Co. Past member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants And Dallas J.C’s Was licensed Pilot.A funeral service for Mr. William Janks, II will take place on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 12:30 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A visitation will take place one hour prior from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Wildwood Chapel.Funeral arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, at the intersection of Restland Road and Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
