William Joshua Logan Jr.'s Obituary
William Joshua Logan Jr. passed away March 29, 2013 in Dallas. He was born April 20, 1947 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to William and Carolyn Logan. William is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mitsuko Logan, and son William Joshua Logan III. He is also survived by two brothers, Gary and David Logan, and two sisters, Dawn Allen and Lynn Hoyle. Josh’s life revolved around his family. Family was always first, and the most important aspect of his life. He lived and loved to put a smile on his wife’s face. They were inseparable, and defined what the perfect marriage should be. Every Saturday, Josh and Mitsuko would spend all day driving around together to different estate sales looking for japanese antiques. Every Sunday, Josh would take Mitsuko across town so she could practice with her dance group. The relationship he had with his son, Joshua, also could be described as inseparable. They did so many activities with one another such as playing golf together and watching high school football. Josh was more than just a father, but also a best friend. Josh proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years. He was a native of North Carolina, and graduated from UNC- Wilmington. He moved to the Texas area and worked for the Internal Revenue Service in Houston before settling in the Dallas area. Josh was beloved and well respected at his workplace. Besides spending time with his family, Josh loved many things. He loved to read books about the history of war, play golf, collect coins and stamps, collect antiques, and most importantly loved his FOOD. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. The burial is being held at the Dallas National Cemetery at 2:15 PM on Friday, April 19, 2013.
