Owens, William T., Jr. (Bill), born in Chicago, Illinois on August 5, 1927. He passed away August 18, 2016. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Maxine. Survived by children, Kathleen and William; son-in-law, Kenneth; daughter-in-law, Tudi and 3 grandchildren. Also preceding Bill in death siblings, Dorothy and Roberta. Bill was a WWII Navy Veteran, and owner of the family staffing business, ODESCO. Those of whose lives Bill touched will miss his strong will, sharp mind, welcoming nature and his devotion to family. Bill has requested no service, however, he ask that people pause a moment and say a prayer in remembrance. Family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
