William Benedict Patterson's Obituary
The family and friends of William Benedict Patterson, Sr., sadly announce that he passed away on January 19, 2019. He is survived by a son, William B. Patterson, Jr., and a step-daughter, Donna Jeanne Riley Lam; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson D. and Clotilde Brulard Patterson, his sister, Clotilde Mulhausen, and his loving wife of 54 years, Donna Jeanne Bond Riley Patterson. Bill will be greatly missed by his dear friend, Genie Schnell, who shared the final years of his life.Bill was born in New Orleans, LA, on October 3, 1924. He served in the Merchant Marine as a radio officer, a position he later held for many years in commercial shipping. He and his wife, Donna, lived in Houston, Texas, until they retired to Dallas to be closer to family. Visitation will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 from 8am to 8pm at Restland Funeral Home. Internment to follow at Restland Memorial Park.Funeral arrangements for Mr. William B.
