William R. "Bill" Tapp's Obituary
William (Bill) R Tapp 7/8/52-3/1923
In our hearts we miss him but we know he is whole again.
Bill took pride in being a devoted son, brother, father, husband and friend. His pride and joy #1 was his daughter Caroline.
He loved hunting, fishing, boating, skiing, camping and travel.
Bill is preceded in death by his Creed Grandparents, Tapp Grandparents, his Parents W B Tapp and Betty Creed Tapp, his Aunt Nadine Creed Kelly.
Survived by his wife Terry Tapp, Daughter Caroline Tapp, son in law Wil Slattery an their 3 children Gwenn, Paige and Emma Slattery. His brothers Gary and Chuck Tapp. His nephews Jason, Adam and Chris Tapp. His uncle Richard Creed and numerous cousins.
Bill was born and raised in Waxahachie. He started playing baseball at a young age with with classmates that have become lifelong friends. He played baseball, basketball, and football in High School. Thirteen years with perfect attendance and was in The Who’s Who of High School.
Bill went to college at UT Arlington where he got his degree in accounting. He sat for the CPA exam and got his certification. He was a longtime member of the Texas Society of CPA’s. His specialty was Audit.
I called him a creative accountant.
