William Ronald Wheeler's Obituary
William Ronald (Bill) Wheeler, 77, passed away Wednesday, December 9 in Sunnyvale, Texas due to complications from COVID-19. He was born on September 1, 1943 in Wills Point, TX to Rush and Rose Wheeler. He was currently residing in Mesquite, TX.
Bill held a BA in Mathematics and BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University. He worked as a CPA, auditor, and computer programmer in the DFW area over the course of 38+ years. He had the best sense of humor and refused to “act his age.”
Bill is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Evelyn; his daughter Mary Kathryn (Katy); his son, William Rush; daughter-in-law, Linsey; granddaughter, Cora (whom he loved dearly); brothers, Mike and Pat; sister-in-law, Nelda; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. His dogs, Buster and Bailey also miss him dearly.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Rush and Rose Wheeler; and Nephew, Jonathan Wheeler.
