Winona Mae Plunk's Obituary
PLUNK, WINONA MAE PIERCE Born November 27, 1924 in Quinlan, TX to John Franklin and Lula Mae Pierce, passed away February 7, 2012 in Dallas, TX. Winona graduated from Quinlan High School in 1941 and became a data processing clerk for the Western Auto stores, where she retired from in the late 80’s. She had a passion for cooking and has left behind a great collection of recipes that was passed down from her Mother. Winona was a long time member of Wilshire Baptist Church. Having a great love for her family, she hardly denied favors and spent many hours with her sons and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Winona was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her 2 sons; Carroll Plunk and Larry Plunk; grandson, Christopher Plunk; granddaughter, Jennifer Plunk Terry and her husband Shawn; great-grandchildren, Leila Ryan Terry and Jacob Terry. Visitation will be Thursday, February 9th at Restland Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be Friday, February 10th at 12:30 pm at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
