Wynona Casady's Obituary
Wynona Casady, a long-time resident of Irving, TX, died Wednesday, April 17th at Cambridge Court-Assisted Living and Memory Care in Mesquite, TX, at the age of 88.Born March 4, 1931 in Sulphur, LA, Wynona was one of six children born to the late Lloyd and Kittye Dickerson. She married the late Edward Dean Casady on May 21, 1949, in Seabrook, TX, and again, on August 5, 1975 in Durant, OK (in a secret renewal ceremony).She is survived by their three children: Micki Lynn Roark (Gordon Roark) of Cleburne, TX, Robin Casady Summers (Rick Summers) of Mesquite, TX, and Daniel Lloyd Casady of Irving, TX; four grandchildren: Amy Vanpool Brouwer (Matt Brouwer) of Midlothian, TX, Andrew Wayne Roark (Kelli Roark) of Waxahachie, TX, Dee Ann Blackwell (Jeff Blackwell) of Ft. Smith, AR, and Aaron Casady Santos of Grapevine, TX; and ten great-grandchildren.Wynona loved playing bridge, sewing, quilting, bird watching, her two cats, and spending time with friends and family. She retired from Heartland Security Insurance Group in early 2015, after working as their receptionist for many years.The memorial service will be held in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243, on May II, 2019, at 3:00pm.
