Everyone here at Oak Wood Place Assisted Living would like to offer our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to Ms. Vernetta's family. Ms. Vernetta was part of our family here at Oak Wood Place and her and her daughter Marti made this their home. Ms. Marti is still living here with us, and we share in her loss. My own personal memory I'd like to share are the sweet smiles and laughter I shared with Ms. Vernetta, esp. during my first meeting with her. We were doing her admitting paperwork and I was wrestling with the spelling of her last name. By the time we had finished with a mile high stack of papers to be filled out and signed, we were both giggling and neither of us knew if we were spelling it right. We will miss her, and have her family in our prayers.
