Ms. Zenia Cenojas, 52, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Saturday, February 18, 1967, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Martin Cenojas and Zenaida Garcia Cenojas in the Philippines. Ms. Zenia Cenojas will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.She married Ramil Encinares on 6/10/2000 in Davao, Philippines. She was a registered nurse for 30+ years.She is survived by her husband Ramil Encinares-Dallas, TX, parents Martin & Zenaida Cenojas, sisters Ida C. Rubin, Zenet G. Cenojas, Venus C. Gehturales, brothers Marco G. Cenojas and Mars G. Cenojas.Zenia was a registered nurse for over 30 years who had a gift for truly serving others. Zenia received a Bacherlor’s Degree in nursing from San Pedro College in Davao City, Philippines.Zenia came to the US in the late 90’s and started out as a registered nurse staff at a nursing home in Rowlett, TX. She then moved on to work at Baylor University Medical center where she was a nurse supervisor for 10 years and was once voted nurse of the year. She was well loved and respected by her staff. Zenia spent the last 4+ years extending meaningful service as a registered nurse in a general medicine-cardio unit at Parkland Hospital. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.May Zenia’s selfless dedication to the nursing profession, the patients and their families whose lives she has touched, her unwavering love for her own family, her caring attitude towards her friends and everyone who knew her in a special way, be forever remembered.Visitation for Ms. Zenia Cenojas will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home.
