Alva Harlan Bandy, Lt. Col. USA retired, age 98, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Richardson, Texas. He was born to Mr. Albert Bandy and Ms. Olive Harlan on March 30, 1923, in Matfield Green, Kansas. He served in the USN during WW2 and joined the USA after completing law school. Upon retiring therefrom, he came to Texas to join Texas Instruments, where he was employed for several decades as a patent attorney. Alva leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by spouse Doris Louise Bandy(Williams), parents, grandparents and sisters Virginia Alice Lutt, Reva May Andrews He is survived by sons Albert Ray Bandy, William Lee Bandy, Richard Douglas Bandy, grandchildren Kathryn Elaine Bandy( husband Anthony Sexton), Susan Elaine Bandy, Zaira Bandy, great grandchildren Zachary Lee Bandy-Sexton Visitation for Alva Harlan Bandy will be Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A Service will be Monday, April 11, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
