Arlin Daulton Mead, 84, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away on July 21, 2022 in Sunnyvale, Texas.
He was born on May 1, 1938, in Celeste, Texas, to Arlin Denton and Fairy Mae (Clinton) Mead.
Daulton married the former Margie Mae Slaughter on October 27, 1958. Margie predeceased Daulton by just over two months.
Daulton is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Daulton is also predeceased by: a sister, Judith Ann (Mead) Boychuk; and two brothers, Ben Harrell Mead and Larry Don Mead.
He is survived by: his two sons, Bart Wesley (Sharon) Mead and Daulton Jantzen (Deidre) Mead; grandchildren Danielle Nicole (Jeremy) Hood, Katherine Elizabeth Mead, Jacob Wesley (Cheyenne) Mead, Franklin Denton (Shayla) Mead, Sarah Abigail (Jeremy) Jennings and Isabella Elise Mead; great-grandchildren Brianna Nicole hood, Riley McCall Hood, Bryce Daulton Hood, Alison Harper, Elizabeth Jennings, Jasper Alan Mead and Annabelle Marie Mead; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
An inurnment with military honors will be scheduled at a later date.
