Aaron O'Brien Slota, of Dallas, TX, passed away on Tuesday June 10, 2025, in Dallas, TX.
He will always be remembered as a loving father, avid lover of sports, friend and one heck of a soccer player to all that knew and loved him. Even though Aaron lived in Dallas, he was still a die-hard Bears and Sox fan. He loved going to sporting events with Jackson and teaching him about each sport, especially football.
He was born on October 27, 1978, in Harvey, IL to Don & Mary Slota of Mokena, IL
Aaron went to Lewis University on a track and soccer scholarship. He was awarded a membership in the National Scholastic Honor Society Delta Epsilon Sigma. Aaron was an audit manager at Associa, overseeing the Internal Audit department.
Aaron is survived by wife, Stephanie Slota and son, Jackson Donald Slota of Dallas, Texas. Father and Mother, Don and Mary Slota of Mokena, IL Sister Lexie Slota of Mokena, IL, Brother Adam Slota and wife Jen Slota of Chicago, IL with their children, Brooke, Reese & Dylan. Sister, Ashley Frey and husband Mike Frey of Glenview, IL with their child, Landon.
The visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Monday June 23rd at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23rd at Restland Funeral Home at 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243
