Abel Regalado was born October 2, 1952, in Waxahachie, Texas, to Pete and Abedell Mungia Regalado. He passed away at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Ofelia Velez Regalado; son, Pete and wife Kristina, daughters, Melissa Regalado and Amanda Garza; step-sons Daniel Suarez and wife Elvia, Abraham Suarez and wife Adrianne; step-daughter Rose Litsey and husband Brent.
