Ada Weaver's Obituary
Ada Miller Weaver was born on November 21, 1930 and peacefully passed away on July 23, 2025. Ada and R.J. lived in Garland until retiring to Cedar Creek in 1992.
Ada was an avid golfer and reader. She is survived by her stepson Bobby Weaver of Longview; four grandchildren - Michelle Oliver (husband Dale) of Hemphill; Tracey Weaver of Austin; Paul Weaver of Liberty Hill, and Greg Weaver of Longview; four great-grandchildren; Abigail and Naylie Weaver of Austin; Whitney and William Weaver of Liberty Hill; two sisters, Joyce Ivy (husband Leon) and Juanita Slusher.
Ada was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, R. J. Weaver, stepson Ralph Weaver, grandson Jacob Mayfield and her parents, Dooley and Thelma Miller. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mabank. Cedar Creek Country Club and the Order of Eastern Star. A special thank you to Patty Cave (niece) for her love and support of Ada.
Graveside services will be held in Dallas at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery - Garden of Devotion at 3pm on Thursday July 31st. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ada's memory to First Baptist Church of Mabank or the charity of your choice.
