Adriana Elizabeth Martinez's Obituary
Adriana Elizabeth Martinez, 48, passed away on June 12, 2019. Adriana was born on August 19, 1970 at Brownsville, Texas, to Maria Cantu Gonzalez and Jose Alvarado Hernandez. She is joining her son Aaron Martinez. She married Juan Martinez in Dallas, Texas on September 9, 1994.She is survived by her husband of 27 years; her 23 year-old daughter, Celeste, who is a full-time college student at BYU-Idaho; and her 16 year-old son, Benjamin, a senior at South Garland High School. She is also survived by her mother, Maria Cantu, and siblings Jose Alvarado, Jr., Laura Sanchez, Mari Tsosie, Patricia Barnes and Jose Angel Alvarado.Adriana was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Adriana served a full-time mission in Uruguay, Montevideo. She was a student at BYU-Idaho. Adriana loved her family and was a passionate advocate for the rights of special needs children. She co-founded a company, Love At Home, which helps parents navigate resources for special needs children.She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
