Adrienne L. Le Blanc's Obituary
Passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Adrienne was born in Seminole, Texas November 15, 1921. She graduated from Big Lake High School and went on to attend Hockaday in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas in 1942. She moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where she attended The Sophie Newcomb College graduate program. She met her husband Milton Le Blanc while he was in Tulane Law School. They married July 5, 1949 and moved with their daughters to New Iberia, Louisiana. Adrienne, after raising her family of three daughters was a social worker for the Department of Children and Family Services. She and her husband moved back to New Orleans in 1977 where she retired from social work and began a career in real estate. She and her husband moved to Dallas, Texas after hurricane Katrina in 2005. They continued to live in Dallas until their deaths. Adrienne belonged to numerous bridge clubs, garden clubs, and was a lifelong member of P.E.O. Preceded in death by her husband, Milton in 2011. Adrienne leaves behind daughters Leslie McNeill, Holly Sullivan and Allison Le Blanc, her son’s-in-law Craig Sullivan, Malcolm McNeill, her granddaughter Lindsay Hardee, husband Shawn Hardee and her great-grandson Sullivan Hardee. Memorial Services will take place at 12:30 pm on Saturday January 9, 2016 at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Parkinson’s Voice Project or P.E.O. International.
