Agnes Matilda Morris' Obituary
MORRIS, AGNES MATILDA GROTH Mrs. Otto Morris, Sr. Born September 15, 1913 in Falls County, TX and died on September 25, 2011 in Dallas, TX. She was the fourth of eleven children of Wesley C. Groth and Emma Walters Groth. Agnes was preceded in death by parents; three brothers; four sisters and her husband, Otto J. Morris, Sr. She is survived by sisters, Luella Arnold and Alyda Mae Shiplett; brother, Glenn Groth; daughter, Jane Morris; son, Otto Morris , Jr. and wife, Diana; son, James G. Morris and wife, Ann; grandchildren Craig Morris, Alexandra Craft and husband, Justin and Tyler Morris. Agnes had worked as a beautician and in retail. She had been a member of Minnehaha Arts and Crafts Club, Eastern Star, Social Order of the Beauceants, Order of the Eagles Auxiliary and AARP. Agnes was an active member of Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church including Amlin Sunday School Class and United Methodist Women. Memorials may be made to Ridgewood Park United Methodist C hurch, 6445 East Lovers Lane, Dallas, TX 75214-2217. Agnes loved her Lord, church, family and cooking. Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM, Monday at Restland Funeral Home.
