Rev Aimee Lucille Madden's Obituary
Rev. Aimee Lucille Madden (Née Davidson) - Obituary
Rev. Aimee Lucille Madden, age 99, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at her home in Lewisville, Texas.
Sister Aimee was born on July 20, 1924, to Jesse Sylvanus and Minnie Mabry Davidson in Hughes County, Oklahoma. One of nine children, she helped raise her younger siblings and support her family during the Great Depression. From a young age, she felt called to minister, carrying on the legacy of her father, who served as an Assemblies of God pastor in Oklahoma.
In 1942, she married Harold Madden. Aimee and Harold went on to have two children, Kenneth Harold and Deborah Ruth. Together, they served in ministry until Harold’s death in 1994. Aimee continued to minister in evangelism, prayer, and counseling for the remainder of her life.
She is survived by her children and their families: Kenneth and Sharon Madden of Flower Mound, TX; and Debbie and Ron Crawford of Dallas, TX. Grandchildren: Sean and Katy Madden of Corinth, Texas; Kim Madden of Denton, Texas; Kelly and Fabian Arroyo of Dallas, Texas; and Katy and Zach Sparrow of Garland, Texas. Great-grandchildren: Kayla, Presly, Chloe, Allie, Megan, and Levi. Great-great-grandchild: Olivia.
Services will be held in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery on Saturday, October 28th, at 10:00 a.m.
