Alan Howard Markoff's Obituary
Alan Howard Markoff, a loving and faithful husband, a good father, a caring brother and friend went home to be with the Lord on April 9, 2026 at 3:00 PM, at age 72.
Alan was a fine jewelry maker whose precision and steady hands could craft beauty from gold. In his later years, that same gift let him repair computers and office equipment — truly, everything he touched turned to gold. He had a tender love for animals and spent his life rescuing them, sharing his home with seven beloved cats at the time of his passing.
Diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), Alan fought with unyielding hope even when there was no cure left. Hardworking to the end, he never gave up — he fought to his last breath.
He was survived by his wife, Crispina Largosa Markoff; his sons from his previous marriage, Stephen David Markoff and Philip Sam Markoff; his daughter-in-law Tatiana Milagros; and his granddaughter, Dalena Markoff, age one. He is preceded in death by his beloved sister Leona.
A single graveside service to celebrate Alan’s life and lay his ashes to rest beside Leona in the family plots at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends.
