Albert Victor Ewart Carthew-Yorstoun's Obituary
Albert Victor Ewart Carthew-Yorstoun , was born March 10, 1933 in Nice, France as the son of Charles Morden and Christine Simrell Carthew-Yorstoun. Victor attended Allen Military Academy , Woodrow Wilson High School and was a graduate of S.M.U. He was married for 43 years to his high school sweetheart, the late Ann Overbeck . In 2002 Victor married a long time friend, Andra L. Roberts and they shared 8 wonderful years together. Victor was employeed in the structural steel industry for over 50 years. In addition to his work life, Victor considered the most rewarding times in his life the moments spent with his family and friends especially with his sons in various sports and camping endeavors. Victor is survived by two sons, Charles Andrew and Victor Scott, both of Dallas, Texas and one daughter Sharon Welch; Adam and Shelby Mizerak and great grand daughter, Alayna, and Sean Welch all of Moon Town, PA; his brothers Charles Morden Carthew and J. Andrew Carthew of Dallas; Don and Mary Kay Coleman and their daughter Barbara Ann and husband Mark Mayfield of Austin, Texas. The family wishes to acknowledge the gracious and loving care given by the staff at Medical City Dallas and especially Dr. Allan Shulkin. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 15th at 2:00 at Restland Abbey Chapel. A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 PM. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Susan G Komen For The Cure. P.O. 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265.
