Mr. Albert G. Hodges' Obituary
Born on September 15, 1912 in Austin, TX and passed away on June 30, 2007 in Dallas, TX. He is preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by sister, Sadie Cordelier; brother, Louis Hodges and wife, Rose; and several nieces and 1 nephew. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II, where he received the Purple Heart. He sold newspapers at Ackerd and Field St. in Dallas and was in the restaurant business at the Best Caf’ and Furr’s Cafeteria. After retirement from food service business, he volunteered at Golden Acres.
