Albert Pershing Johnson's Obituary
born February 16, 1921 in Oklahoma City, OK and passed away February 23, 2008 in Carrollton, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert D. and Harriet Rebecca Johnson; sister, Helen Penny; and son-in-law, Jeryl Jordan. Survived by wife of 61 years, Barbara Johnson; daughters, Debbie Shugart and spouse Bob, Sharon Jordan; grandchildren, Justin Jordan and wife Holly, Jaysha Grant and husband J.R.; great-grandchild, Kylie Grant, numerous nieces , nephews, and friends. Albert was a army veteran, serving in Europe during World War II. He was a devoted member of the Wayfarers Sunday school class at the First United Methodist Church in Richardson. He had a strong presence and touched everyone he came in contact with. His greatest joys in life were his wife, children, grandchildren, and great- grandchild, all of whom were loved as much as they loved him. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Prayer Blanket or Children’s Ministry at the First United Methodist Church in Richardson.
