Albin Stanley Grablun's Obituary
Albin Stanley Grablun went home to Jesus on June 11, 2025. After a courageous battle with cancer, he is now in Heaven with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born on March 12, 1946, in Newark, New Jersey, Albin was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
Albin was a man of great faith, and for him, nothing was more important than his relationship with God and the love of his family. He married Patricia White in 1976, and together they raised three children: Amie Bernas, Jordan Grablun, and daughter Anna Grablun, who preceded him in death. His legacy continues through his four cherished grandchildren, who were a source of great joy for him.
After moving to Texas in 1976, Albin started his company, Interior Systems Unlimited. He was a general contractor until he retired shortly after his cancer diagnosis. Albin was a veteran in the United States Army who patriotically loved his country. He was an avid sportsman who loved baseball and golf. Every night he watched a game, and every morning he read the sports section from front to back.
Albin's strength and courage were especially evident during his battle with cancer. He fought long and hard, surrounded by his family and the dedicated staff at UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff who provided compassionate care and support during his difficult times.
As we remember Albin, we honor a man of faith, love, and resilience. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Patricia; his children, Amie and Jordan; and his grandchildren.
At the time of his death he was a member of Grace Redeemer Church. A Memorial Service will be held July 7th, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
