Alexus Tate-Williams, 18 gained her wings Wednesday, July 12, 2017, with her family by her side in Dallas, TX. She was born Monday, March 15, 1999, in Athens, TX to Christi Tate and Derrick Williams. Alexus was raised in a loving home with her mother, brother (Trenton Williams) and her step father (William Fields). Alexus graduated June 4, 2017, from Newman Smith High School and had plans to attend Brookhaven College this fall. She was also making plans to pursue her heart and desire to become an event planner. Alexus will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. She was the kind of young lady that anyone would be proud to call daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and friend. Her smile could light up the darkest room and will continue to smile beyond the clouds. “and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7 NKJV Service to celebrate Alexus’s life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 12:00 PM at Antioch Christian Church located at 2043 W Walnut Hill Ln, Irving, TX 75038. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
