Alfred Glenn Trayler's Obituary
Alfred Glenn Trayler was born on August 17, 1935 in Houston, TX to Alfred Wilson Trayler and Martha Estelle Morrison and passed away on September 27, 2014. He served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1962. Glenn spent his entire career in the insurance business and made many treasured friends through his business endeavors. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with his friends Robert Roe and Olice Steward, and spending time at his farm in East Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Timothy Trayler; and daughter, Valerie Mayes. Glenn is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Stacey Burns and husband, Mark; son, Ross Trayler and partner, Geoffrey; step-daughter, Whitney Faulkner and husband, Ryan, step-son, Derek Brandon; grandson, Brannon Mayes; granddaughter, Carissa Burns; sisters, Carolyn Griffin, Jean Fossett, and Billye Crumlish and husband, Larry. The funeral service for Glenn will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, visitation will be one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Nexus Recovery Center, 8733 La Prada Drive, Dallas, TX 75228. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
