Alice Clark's Obituary
Alice Gibbs Clark passed away on September 30, 2011 At Walnut Place nursing home. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm Friday, September 2, 2011 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.Alice was born on October 12, 1924 in Houston, Tx to Hugh Lee and Alice Brunet Gibbs. She attended Lamar High School and TSCW (TWU), majoring in journalism and then worked at the Houston Chronicle. She married Hubert C. Clark, Jr., a childhood friend, and they spent their married life in Dallas, TX. She enjoyed playing golf, playing bridge and doting on grandchildren. Alice is survived by daughter, Donna Clark Conine and husband, Jim; son, Dan Gibbs Clark and wife, Tori. Other survivors are grandchildren Shon and Megan Conine, son Mac; Clark and Robbi Conine, children Riley and Tanner; Clayton and Amy Conine, daughters Abby and Allie; Gibbs Clark and Trigg Clark. The family wishes to express thanks to the nurses, aides and activity personnel who embraced Alice at Walnut Place. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
