Alice Louise Reagan's Obituary
Alice Louise Bragg Reagan, 95, of Farmers Branch, Texas passed away on December 26, 2025. She was born December 24, 1930, in Bonham, Texas to the late Albert Wheeler and Thelma Jewel Gilmore Bragg. In 1953, Alice married Robert “Bob” L. Reagan Sr. in Texarkana, Texas. Together they had five children in a span of four years, and this was the start of the family brand, Rockin’ AB.
Alice, nicknamed “Pill” by her siblings, was a 1949 graduate of Texas High School in Texarkana, where she was a Tiger Band Sweetheart and Majorette. She went on to attend college at North Texas State in Denton where she joined the Phi Gamma Kappa social sorority and participated in the Junior Mary Arden Club and the Alpha Rho Tau Art Club. Art remained a constant source of joy for Alice, drawing her to color and paint until just weeks before her passing.
After college and marrying Bob, Alice rooted herself deeply in her community. She became a Jayceette in the 1960s where she devoted many volunteer hours. For decades, she taught summer swimming through the Red Cross where she eventually became Director of the program. Alice was also a member of many social groups including The Dallas Antiquers and the Farmers Branch Women’s Club where she was active well into her 80s.
Beyond her community, Alice had a passion for traveling the world with her family, and with her group of friends known in their circle as the Texas Bag Ladies. Her passion for family and travel was only rivaled by her love for antiques, butterflies, turquoise, coloring, solitaire, a cold beer, a good fish fry, and endless amounts of ice cream. There was always room for ice cream.
Alice is survived by her son, Robert L. “Bubba” Reagan II and Christine of Aledo, TX, daughter Alice Elizabeth “Sissy” Bingham of Farmers Branch, TX, daughter Lynn Anne Reagan of Dallas, TX, and daughter Carolyn Jean Baynham and Gary of Harrisburg, PA; and daughter-in-law Liana Freeman Reagan. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, and her loving caregivers Joyce Keith and Stacy Payne of Garland, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Thelma Bragg; her husband Robert L. Reagan Sr.; her siblings, brother William Bragg, sister Thelma Marie Bragg Ward, and sister J. Jean Bragg Hughes; her son David W. Reagan; and son-in-law J. Michael Bingham.
A memorial service and internment will be held at Restland Cemetery on March 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Celebration of Life will take place later that day at a separate location. Details to follow.
