Alice Thompson's Obituary
Ruby Alice Brown Thompson, 90, Tyler was born in Jayton, Texas on May 7, 1926. She grew up with her twelve siblings in Troup, Texas and attended Whitehouse Schools. Alice was the strongest soft person you’d ever meet. Saying she was loved by several hundred would not be an exaggeration. She was a shining light. Services for Alice will be held at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel Monday, December 26, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. Visitation will be at 1:30 P.M. prior to the service. Mrs. Thompson passed away on December 22, 2016 in Tyler. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Earl Brown and Rosa Olive Warner Brown, husband Morris Clark Pride, Bill Denson and D. L. Thompson and son Gary Morris Pride.. She is survived by two daughters Gloria White, of Magnolia and Kay Lawrence, of Dallas, grandchildren Gary and Deana Pride, Padgett Parker, Pride and Allison Parker, William Lawrence, Paden and Susan Parker and Kristin and Joe Summers, and 9 great grandchildren. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Dallas on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.
