Alicia Mercedes Schultz passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 12, 2025. Born on October 1, 1922, in Maiquetia, Venezuela. Alicia lived a life full of kindness, generosity, laughter and dedication to family, community, and God. She had the gift of gab and loved to entertain her friends, family, and acquaintances with her incredible cooking and comedy. She was the perfect wife, mother and friend.
Alicia moved to Dallas, Texas from Caracas Venezuela in 1975 with her husband and four children. In Dallas she became known for her compassion, integrity, generosity and unwavering commitment to helping other ‘transplanted’ families such as hers.
Alicia dedicated most of her time to her family life: nurturing and rearing her four children and doting on her loving husband, Arthur Henry Schultz.
She is survived by her four children: Tadeo, Arturo, Lloyd, and Carmen; five grandchildren: Arturo, Elena, Francesca, Alexander, and Anna; and two great grandchildren: Ari and Max.
A memorial Service will be held on December 2, 2025, at 10:30 at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas.
