Allen Ray Mcdonald's Obituary
MCDONALD, RAY ALLEN Resident of Presbyterian Village North, Dallas, TX at the time of his death on April 9, 2007. Born February 16, 1916 in Bells, TX. He graduated from Roanoke, TX High School in 1933 and attended North Texas State University. He was a signalman in the U.S. Navy during WWII participating in the invasion of Iwo Jima. Ray was a retired executive with Wal-Mart stores and Sam’s Wholesale Clubs. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Millie Maddox McDonald of Dallas; son and wife Richards and Martha McDonald; granddaughters, Amy (Darrel) Conger of Plano, Susan Miller of California; two great grandsons, Zachary and Tyler Miller; brother, Vance McDonald of Fredericksburg, TX. Entombment was held April 11, 2007 at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, TX.
