North, Allie Ellis Houchin was born on November 1, 1931 in Calera, Oklahoma and passed away on January 7, 2016 in Royse City, Texas at her daughters home. Preceded in death by husbands; Bill North and Don Houchin, children; Jena and Forrest Covey, parents; Marshall and Mary Ellis and Connie and Jo Houchin, brothers; Junior,Shot, J.R.,Joe and Marvin, sisters; Vernell, Pat and Judith, great grandson Jayce Mayo. Survived by children; Lanne Houchin, Sharla and Rex Merrett, Donitta and Wes Cherry, and Stacy and Sam Smith.Step Children Darla and Tom Holbert, Bill North, Carl Presley. Seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great- grandchildren. Brothers; Charley and Garry, sisters; Betty and Jessie; brother In laws, Jerry, Sammy and Terry and sister in law, Connie. Allie North, mom, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all. She is frequently characterized as a unique human being. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and loved every family member and friend to the fullest. She stayed in touch with every family member and friend she could, and was the ONE person that everyone knew they could always count on. Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the Restland Memorial Chapel. Service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 2:30 PM at the Restland Memorial Chapel.
