She is survived by two daughters: Mary Alice Holmes and husband James Sr., and Joan Dennis and husband Donald; two sons: Adothus McLendon and wife Margaret, and Lavance McLendon and wife Etois; nine grandchildren: Lashon, April, Sherry, Adothus III McLendon, James Holmes Jr., Stephanie Kinder, Donald Dennis II, Craig and LaToisha McLendon; five great-grandchildren Daeton Holmes, Brandon Holmes, Asia Holmes, Blaise Dennis, and Dakota Dennis; and three sisters, Rachel Williams, Sharon, and Mary Beth.
