Allyne Lowe's Obituary
LOWE, ALLYNE went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 18, 2012, in Dallas, TX. She was 96 years old. Allyne was born in Nevada, TX, on October 4, 1916, to Jacob and Mary Belle Welch. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 74 years, Fred Lowe; sister, Leila Katherine Crawford, and brothers, Clyde Welch, Clarence Welch, Herman Welch, and Truett Welch. She is survived by her children, Betty McDonald of Dallas and her husband, Weldon, and Fred Lowe of Houston and his wife, Donna; four grandchildren, Mike McDonald of Dallas, Lori Courrege of Dallas, Diane Sherick of Ladera Ranch, CA, and Tricia Copeland of Jackson, MS; and eight great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Christopher, Alyssa, Kirby, Patricia, Katherine, Ford, and Sam. Allyne and Fred were active members of Glenwood United Methodist Church in Tyler for 43 years. In 2006, Allyne and Fred moved to Whiterock Court in Dallas where they instantly became friends with many of the residents. More recently Allyne moved to C.C. Young in Dallas where her increasing need for assistance was wonderfully met. Thanks to the staffs of Whiterock Court, C.C. Young, and C.C. Young Hospice for their dedicated service and kindness that made Allyne’s last years more enjoyable. We will all miss Allyne, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Funeral services will be held in Restland Abbey Chapel at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Burial will be at Rockwall Memorial Cemetery following the services.
