Alma "Tulie" Lucille Pardue's Obituary
Alma “Tulie” Lucille Pardue passed peacefully from this life into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 12, 2016 surrounded by a room full of family and friends. This was the perfect ending for a woman whose family was her main focus and greatest joy. Tulie was born to S.A. and Edith Stephens on January, 10, 1930 in Dallas, Tx. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. When she was 14 she met the love of her life, W.D. “Bill” Pardue. They were married on June 11, 1948. They were married for almost 68 years. She was a long time member of First United Lutheran Church. Tulie and Bill raised 3 sons and 1 daughter, W.D. “Don” Pardue, Jr of Heath, Stephen Ray Pardue of Rockwall, Donna Pardue Robinson of Killeen and Randal Wayne Pardue of Dallas. Tulie spent her time involved with all of her children’s many activities and sports, while also working as the office manager for Bill’s construction company. She and Bill were involved in work with the Hella Shrine where they made many lifelong friends. Tulie loved to travel. She and Bill saw many parts of the world, often on Shrine trips to exotic locations around the world. Her favorite pastime was watching her Dallas Cowboys, preferably with her family, if they kept quiet during the game! Tulie will be remembered for her tireless devotion to Bill and her family, her fun, spirited personality, amazing sense of style and elegance. Tulie was truly an outstanding and beloved woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Tulie is survived by her husband Bill and their children, Don and his wife Carole, Steve and his wife Christy, Donna and Randy and his wife, Cindy. Tulie was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren: (Don’s) Brian Pardue and his wife, Song, and their sons, Brady and Grant. Anne Pardue Fyffe and her husband, Brad and her children, Madeline Tighe, Mason and Tyler Fyffe. Cheyenne Pardue Weable and her husband, Kevin, and their daughters, Jaycie and Macey. Scott Pardue and his wife, Chrystal and their son, Joey. (Steve’s) Jason Pardue and his wife, Suzan, and their sons, Leyton, Wyatt and Sawyer. Jennifer Pardue McKenzie and her husband, Bryan, and their sons, Caden and Colt. Isabell Pardue, Avery Fain and her son, Ryder, Dakota and Lilly Rodriquez. (Donna’s) Kristin Tiller and her husband, Maury, and their children Jackson, Julia and Joseph. Keith Robinson and his wife, Jennifer, and their children, Eva, Dylan and Katherine. Stephanie Van Antwerp and her husband, Kevin, and their sons, Andrew, Jonathan and Timothy. Alan Robinson and his wife, Susie. (Randy’s) Taylor Pardue and his wife, Heather, and their sons, Conner and Luke. Matt Pardue and his wife, Abbey, and their daughter, Bonnie. Clay Pardue and his wife, Diana, and their daughters, Katie Grace and Annabelle. The Pallbearers are Tulie’s grandsons: Brian Pardue, Jason Pardue, Keith Robinson, Scott Pardue, Alan Robinson, Taylor Pardue, Matt Pardue, Clay Pardue. The family wishes to thank her loving caregiver, Maria Gomez, and her family. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 6- 8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 1 PM at the Restland Memorial Chapel. Donations may be made to Shriner’s Hospital. www.shrinerschildrensforhospitals.org/donate
