Let us Pause to Honor the Memory of Mrs. Alma Buchheit Robertson Mrs. Alma Buchheit Robertson, age 85, of Plano, Texas formerly of Madison, Indiana entered this life on February 23, 1933 in Carrollton, Kentucky. She was the loving daughter of otto and Katie Catherine McDole Buchheit. She was raised and spent her childhood in Carrollton and Milton, Kentucky areas. She retired in 1983 as a psychiatric attendant from the Madison State Hospital in Madison, Indiana. On September 8, 1984 Alma was united in marriage to Harold Theo Robertson in Plano, Texas. They enjoyed 34 years of marriage together until her death. This happy union blended two families together and they enjoyed the love of daughters, Betty “Bobbie”, Jeanie, and Paula and sons, Charles, Earl, John Allen and Tommy. Alma’s last few years were difficult with her illness but she was lovingly cared for at home by her devoted husband. She passed away peacefully at home with her loving and devoted husband at her side at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019. Alma always presented her self with a beautiful smile and gleaming appearance. She will be sadly missed by all that loved her.A LOVING FAMILY Alma will be missed by her loving husband of 34 years, Harold Theo Robertson of Plano, Texas; her devoted daughters, Betty “Bobbie” Rohrig of Dundee, Florida, Jeanie Liter and her husband, Ollie “Jim” of Madison, Indiana; her sons, Charles Whisman of North Vernon, Indiana, Earl Whisman of New Salisbury, Indiana, John Allen Berry of Versailles, Indiana; her step son, Tommy Robertson and his wife, Tina; her step daughter, Paula Wilson (Kenneth); 12-grandchildren, 21-great grandchildren, 1-great great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and other relatives . She was preceded in death by her father, Otto Buchheit, her mother, Katie Catherine McDole Buchheit, her brothers, Earl Buchheit, died December 11, 2018 and J.W. Buchheit, and her granddaughter, Gina Rohrig Iatauro, died October 1, 2015.FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 12:30 p.m. at the Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Texas. Interment will follow in the Restland Memorial in Dallas, Texas.VISITATION Friends may visit Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Texas.MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONSMemorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity of choice.
