Almadene Warren's Obituary
WARREN, ALMADENE 77 passed peacefully in her sleep March 27, 2013 in her home in Lewisville, Texas. Feisty, caring, giving, funny, spicy, loved, she was all of those things and so much more. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that was deeply cherished by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Warren and her daughter Laura Pochet. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Salazar, Donna Fletcher, Susan Vyse, Jennifer Warren, and Carissa Smith, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and sister Barbara Holt. She was a hard working woman earlier in her life sometimes holding multiple jobs to raise her family. Middle life she was a homemaker and was very much active in her children’s lives. She was a leader of the Girl Scouts, PTA, and volunteered at the school often. She loved to cook for her family always by taste and without any measurements. She taught her daughters to cook that same way. Almadene was a social butterfly throughout her life. She did not know a stranger and loved to socialize and conversation with everyone. She enjoyed life and was always willing to try anything. She loved to read and was always self educating. She enjoyed playing a competitive game of cards with her friends. She gave all of us that knew her the gift her of her warm and caring heart, her giving nature, and the wonderful memories that will be remembered and cherished. All of us that knew her are truly grateful for the time we had with her. She will be deeply missed and we will all carry on stories about her to keep her memory alive in life. Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, April 1, 2013 in Restland Wildwood Chapel.
