Alonso Martinez's Obituary
Alonso Martinez
February 12, 1975 – May 9, 2023
Alonso passed on May 9, 2023. He was born February 12, 1975, in Cuahutemoc, Chihuahua. He moved with his family at the age of 8 and grew up in Dallas, Texas, where Alonso met the love of his life, Susie. They were together for 18 years. Alonso was a loving husband, son, brother, friend, and father to Duke. He was a loyal friend with a heart of gold who was always there to support others. He was patient, giving, loving, non-judgmental and understanding.
Alonso was hilarious, kind, silly, trustworthy, gave solid advice, loved to laugh and was down to clown. He loved deeply, and truly cared about his people. He always made others feel important, loved and he was so smart and savvy. Everyone admired how he brought people together even being a more introverted person himself. He was the most supportive and attentive to his beloved wife Susie. He took care of her when she needed him the most, always there to listen, give advice, protection, and love. Susie will miss his “Hey Mama” every time she walked into the room or called. He was such a good and loving son to his parents who loved him unconditionally. He was his mother’s heart, and she was his, and his father will so miss his Lonchis. As a brother, his love and support were unwavering, and the loss will be felt in ways that can’t be put into words, all one can say is that you will always be loved and be your sister’s “Doofus”.
Alonso is survived by his wife, Susie Jasper, parents Jose and Ana Martinez, sister Susie Villanueva, brother Ulysses Hauxwell, nephews Stephen Villanueva, Andy Villanueva, and Nick Hauxwell. Alonso had a large extended family, and so many lifelong friends that are also feeling the pain of his passing. His kind and contagious smile and laugh will be missed
A visitation and viewing will be held Saturday, May 13th at 2:00 pm, with Memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel located at Restland Funeral Home.
