Alta was the best neighbor, bringing food over, providing a thick quilt to cover our fireplace heart when our little toddler granddaughter came for a visit to protect her from a possible topple. Such a precious soul, thoughtful and kind. I am one of the lucky people who had the privilege of calling Alta my friend. Always a warm smile and a positive uplifting word. Heaven definitely has a beautiful Angel. Prayers and love to all of Alta’s family.
I know she will be missed by many ; she was a huge part of my childhood, living across the street from her for many years and her family was our family . Christina is one of my closes friends And I know this will be a big adjustment for her and her sibling, Alta was a huge part of her kids life’s and a great mom and wife. Rest In Peace dear Alta .

Alta was a real sister to me even though she was my sister-in-law. She was the most positive, kind, giving, caring, and compassionate person I have ever known. Many years ago I wanted to learn how to crochet, so in order to teach me, she taught herself how to crochet left-handed.
My heart is broken and I will miss her dearly, but will always treasure my memories of her.
Momma Alta was a huge part of my very happy childhood. I lived across the street and she was always there if we needed anything all the while teaching us how to be a wonderful person. She taught me how to crochet and tried to teach me how to make her famous cookies. She was there for me when I became a teenage mother and she never passed judgement but helped me and my daughter was lucky to have her babysit. She will be missed by her wonderful family. RIP beautiful lady.
My Alta, a sister- in- law but true sister to me. From our first meeting I knew she was someone special. Full of joy and love that she showered on everyone lucky enough to know her. She was kind, generous, sympathetic, giving, patient, spicey, smart, gifted,
a wonderful mother, adoring wife and God's
gift to us.
