Altis Lee Powell's Obituary
Altis Lee Powell was born in Dallas, TX on July 4, 1936. He was a resident of Copeville until his death Sunday October 30, age 75. He was preceded in death by his father, Elton Lee (Cap), his mother, Eula Mae Smith and a brother, Wayne. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Grace (Guinn); sons Mike and wife, Renay, Frank and wife, Kellene, David and wife, LeeAnn; a sister Earline Powell Guinn husband, Billy Ray; brothers, Bobby and wife, Jackie, Troy and wife, Peggy and Steve and wife, Kathy; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Altis was a proud ’53 alumnus of Crozier Tech. He was a life long member of the Assemblies of God and a Member of First Assembly of God in Lavon, TX. He was the owner of AAA Septic Tank, for 55 years. Visitation will be Tuesday night November 1 at Restland Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00pm. A service celebrating his life will be Wednesday November 2 at 10:00am at Northplace Church in Sachse, TX Rev. Rick Dubose and Rev. Paul Ecker presiding.
