Alvero L. (Lee) Jensen's Obituary
Alvero L. (Lee) Jensen born December 12, 1939 in Melrose Park, Illinois and passed away April 18, 2021 in Richardson, Texas.
He began as a teacher, after earning a Bachelor's in Education, and then worked for 15 years at Otis Elevator. The rest of his years were spent with home remodeling leading to 15 years with Habitat For Humanity first as a Construction Manager and then Warehouse Manager before retirement.
He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Romano Jensen of Chicago, father Alvero L. Jensen Sr., in Sarasota, Florida, niece Tia Stanger of Madison, WI., sister Janet Banks of Madison, WI.
He is survived by Linda Jensen, his wife of 51 years, son David (Melissa) Jensen in Waxahachie, Texas, daughter Leanne Campbell ( Jeff) of Richardson, Texas, two grandchildren London Jensen and Alex Ardolino and numerous nieces and a nephew, brother-in-law Mike Arpin, sister-in-law Candice Brady, & father-in-law Clarence Arpin.
Graveside Service will be held in Bahai Gardens at Restland Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers a donation to Fore-Front Living Foundation, 12477 Merit Dr., Dallas, TX 75251 (hospice) or directly to The Alzheimer's Association.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, April 24 at 11 a.m.
Due to COVID we will go our own way after the service. A Celebration of Lee's Life will be held late summer.
