Alvin Jacobs' Obituary
He is preceded in death by his parents Rose and Jack Jacobs. Alvin was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Billie Jacobs, his sister Sheri Portwood, his children, Michell Escobar and husband Carlos, Shawn Jacobs and wife Rebecca, grandchildren, Taylor, Alexa, Jourdan, Emmitt and Audrey, and nephew Phillip Portwood. Alvin received his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin. After fulfilling his military commitment in the army as Second Lieutenant he received his Masters Degree at the University of Texas, Austin. He was a leader in womens fashion in the Dallas Apparel industry for 40 years. Alvin completed his career with IBM after receiving Microsoft and Cisco certification. Alvin touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
