Alvin Lee Roy Wiley's Obituary
Born June 8, 1930 in Pittsburg, KS and passed away January 10, 2012 in Dallas, TX. Alvin graduated from Pittsburg High School. He served in the US Army and had a professional career in the insurance business. Alvin donated much of his time in various churches as a deacon, music minister, and treasurer. He enjoyed a loving 62 year marriage to wife Marilyn, and was a wonderful family man, dedicated to his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents Lorne and Delora Wiley, of Pittsburg, KS and son Scott A. Wiley and grandson Matthew D. Hobson, both of Dallas, TX. Alvin is survived by wife Marilyn J. Wiley, daughter Kristi A. DuBey, grandson Ryan L. Hobson, great-grandson Darin S. Hobson, and great-granddaughter Grace K.A. Bransford. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or Champions Life Christian Church, Dallas, TX.
