Alyssa Ann Little's Obituary
Alyssa Ann Little, 23, of Richardson, died April 14, 2011, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born April 14, 1988, in Irving, TX, the daughter of Cindy (Thomasson) Neinast and Ret Little. She attended Richardson schools and graduated from J.J. Pearce High School in 2006. Alyssa then went on to Texas Tech University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and was an active alumni member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Alyssa was the life of the party. She loved to laugh and it became her life’s pursuit to bring laughter to others. She recently enrolled in improv classes at the Dallas Comedy House and was planning the next chapter of her life. With her optimistic drive and determination, there was no doubt her goals would be achieved. Alyssa’s infectious and charismatic personality insisted that those around her enjoy life as much as she did. Alyssa is survived by her parents, Cindy and Will Neinast of Coppell and Ret Little of Richardson; her sister, Jennifer Johnson and brother in law, Joshua Johnson of Katy; her brother, Bret Little of Richardson; her step-brothers, Trey and Tyler Neinast of Austin. She also leaves her maternal grandparents, Charles and Margaret Huckabee of Irving; and her paternal grandparents, Don and Peggy Little of Richardson. She is also survived by her close friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held Monday, April 18, 2011, from 6-8pm at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at 2pm at the First United Methodist Church of Richardson, 503 N. Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75080. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Richardson, the American Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice, in memory of Alyssa.
