Alzie Lee Levels' Obituary
Alzie Lee Levels passed away peacefully on March 31, 2024. Alzie was 99 years old.
She was born in Gilmer, Texas on July 27, 1924, to John and Arah Davis.
Alzie graduated from H.B Pemberton High School in Marshall, Texas and carried out her career as an independent caterer for many years. She married her love, Goldie Levels, until his passing in 2001. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-great grandmother to so many. Her hobbies were traveling and showing her love for her family and friends through her cooking.
Alzie is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, two brothers – John and Howard Davis, three sisters – Georgia Bullard, Birdie Moore, and Arah Lucille Broadnax.
Alzie is survived by her daughter, Rita Renee Levels-Simon, her three grandchildren, Theophilus Jerode ’Rhyne, Channing J. Levels, and Mashaunda Cheniee Pointer.
She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren: Tyler, Denali, Malikia “Mallie”, Malik, Million, and one great-great grandchild, Wynter as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will be holding a visitation on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 5 PM -8 PM at Restland Funeral Home.
The graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at Restland Memorial Park.
