Amanda Brooke Ashwander's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Amanda Brooke Ashwander, who left this world on October 25, 2025, at the age of 43. Born on November 7, 1981, in Dallas, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of Ricky Charles Ashwander and Susan Renee Johnson.
Amanda graduated from South Garland High School in 2000 and went on to attend Texas Woman's University. She had a meaningful career in home health care before her passing.
Amanda is preceded in death by her mother, Susan Renee Johnson.
She leaves behind her cherished son, Cayden Brown. Amanda is also survived by her loving father, Ricky Ashwander, her stepfather, Brian Abbett, her stepsister Heather Marra and her husband Chad, her stepbrother Luke Abbett, and many other loving extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on November 15, 2025, at Restland Funeral Home's Abbey Chapel. Friends and family are invited to join together to honor her memory and reflect on the beautiful moments shared with her.
