Mrs. Amelia Mary Albright's Obituary
Amelia is survived by her sisters-in-law, Hortencia Fernandez and Maria Rodriguez. Known to friends and loved ones as Amy, she was born on March 13, 1925 in Buffalo, New York to Victor and Clara Tyler and passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Medical City Hospital of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years; Retired Col. James P. Albrite, M.D. She was educated in Buffalo, NY and Washington DC. She was a registered nurse. She lived a varied and interesting life in Buffalo, Alaska, Cuba, Japan, Washington DC, Germany, El Paso and Dallas, TX. She loved to travel and spoke many different languages. Of those extensive travels, she had many stories and experiences to share. She was a very astute business woman. She loved the game of bridge and played every weekend. She was very literate. Reading was a passion. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. Amy leaves behind one brother, John Tylenski, of Miami, Florida and two sisters-in-law, Hortensia Fernandez and Maria Rodriquez, both of Miami, Florida. She also leaves behind many friends that loved her. She will be deeply missed. Crypt side service will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday February 26, 2008, at Restland Memorial Park.
